Left-side Foldable Accelerator
This adaptation offers drivers with a functional restriction on the right leg or foot the possibility to control the accelerator easily with their left foot.
Working
The left-side foldable accelerator pedal is mounted on the left-side of the brake pedal and connected to the original accelerator pedal. By pressing down the left-side foldable accelerator with the left foot, the original accelerator will be depressed, making it possible to open the throttle.
Safety
The right-side accelerator pedal is folded when driving with the left-side foldable accelerator, which ensures that it is impossible to unintentionally touch the original accelerator. It is also impossible to operate the accelerator and brakes at the same time. To brake, the accelerator pedal must be released and in order to accelerate the brake pedal must be released.
Comfort
As a result of the foldable pedals more foot and leg space is created. It is easy to place the pedals back in their original position, so that other drivers can use the pedals in the normal way.
Installation
Bever Car Products offers a wide range of car specific left-side foldable accelerators. The left-side foldable accelerator includes a concise installation manual and assembly parts, which ensures that a conversion company can carry out this adaptation easily. For an original mechanic accelerator, parts are supplied to convert the original accelerator into a foldable version and for an original electronic accelerator, a right-side foldable accelerator pedal is supplied. The left-side foldable accelerator is black powder coated, integrating it fully into the vehicle interior.
